“An exciting voice... dreamy but with an intense physicality.”
— Washington Post Best Science Fiction & Fantasy of 2018
“Otis’s fiction has a dynamic blend of contemporary and speculative approaches, diamond-edged and furious in her exploration of power, oppression, and grief.”
— Dig to the Insides: Alien Virus Love Disaster by Abbey Mei Otis Reactor
“Otis’s work always retains a dark humor and unique narrative sensibility; there are consistently shocking turns, and these stories often end in unexpected ways. Definitely a standout collection, one well worth revisiting for future reads."
